In the case of Milne Vickery Meads, there were at least four.   The first and obvious one was that he is not listed on Budleigh’s War memorial. And yet the Commonwealth War Graves Commission describes his mother, Laura Sophia Meads, as ‘of Budleigh Salterton’. However she does not seem to have a grave in our St Peter’s Burial Ground.
