Radio Budleigh

One of the hit shows of Budleigh Salterton’s annual Gala Week returns in the form of a brand-new Radio Budleigh production entitled ‘Just One Thing After Another’ at the Salterton Drama Club.

With a nostalgic and tongue-in-cheek look-back to the days of hits like ‘Much Binding in the Marsh’ and ‘Take it from Here’, the show consists of a series of songs, sketches and monologues in the style of a 1950s radio programme and runs from Thursday 21 to Saturday 23 May at the Drama Club’s own theatre off Station Road.

As Saturday’s show will be a ‘Gala’ performance, drinks and cocktail snacks will be served from 7.00 pm. The public of Budleigh is invited to be the studio audience for this “special” performance for Gala Week. Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion.

Tickets are £7 from the Tourist Information Office in Budleigh.

The town’s Gala Week runs from 23-31 May and is organized by the Lions Club of Budleigh Salterton, part of the worldwide charity which raises funds for a variety of local, national and international causes. For further information about the week please see http://www.budleighlions.org/
