Captains Course is having a sale for Brewster residents with a one-time-only half-year membership available for $350. The membership would be good through March 31, 2010. “Our financial problems at Captains Course are all because of loss of memberships,” selectman Ed Lewis observed. “I think this will be a good first step.” Normally Brewster residents pay $700 for a full year membership. Non-residents pay $2,000. But with the economy slumping 176 residents have not renewed memberships this year.
