Budleigh-based charity offers Medieval Knight Out


Lords, ladies, Serfs, Peasants and Villains, eat, drink and be merry at a Medieval themed party at Knowle Village Hall at 7.30pm-12.00am on Saturday 4 July.

Come and defend your ladies' honour at the joust, then take her by the hand and dance to the live band The Barnstormers.

One free drink will be served to those who attend in medieval costume!

Tickets £12.50 for admittance, food, jousting & band. It was difficult to confirm that link, but there were enough intriguing aspects to Gerald’s story to raise questions that I wanted to see answered. Further research led to more East Devon links – to Honiton, Exmouth and further afield.
